- Group Meetings for all members of the IAM, BADAM group and associates
- Social events and visits - everyone welcome
- Group promotion activities - volunteers are invited to man our public relations / display stand at outdoor public events
Group Meetings
The
Group's monthly meetings are based around the principles of safe
driving - they are for the preparation of those taking the IAM Advanced
Test (Associates) and for the maintenance of driving skills of all
group members. The general public are cordially invited to attend any
of the meetings except the AGM.
From time to time there may be a guest speaker covering driving topics or matters of general interest to the motorist.
We do make new members and guests very welcome, and introduce
you to members and committee - just make it known that you are new when you
arrive at the door. Refreshments are available for 20p during the break.
Group Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month as shown below, at Wessex Water HQ. Claverton Down Road. A map can be found HERE courtesy of Multimap.

All our neighbouring groups have been invited to send teams to this year's 'Inter Group Quiz' to try to win the coveted 'Inter Group Trophy' won by Bath Group last year. This is a fun evening during which the audience will be invited to make up teams and compete for prizes. So come along a have a good time!! Won by Bath Group ....again ! There will be no lecture for Associates. |

Associates Lecture followed by an evening with Graham Jamieson.He will be telling us about his experiences as a part time coach driver. Graham, who is a Bath Group member, has been driving coaches for over 40 years so there will be plenty to tell!!Don't miss this one! See you there |

This evening's programme and February's programme incorporate the Associates Lecture. We are showing a DVD by Chris Gilbert - formerly a Police Sergeant Advanced Driving Instructor / Examiner from the Metropolitan Police Driving School, Hendon. The DVD, entitled 'Ultimate Driving Craft' is concerned with Commentary Driving on a variety of roads and in different types of vehicles. It will be shown in two parts, Part 1 this evening and part 2 at February's Meeting. Starts at 1930hrs |

INTER GROUP QUIZ NIGHT!!
We will be inviting teams from Bristol and District, Melksham, Weston
and Mendip and Taunton Groups to come and try to take away the INTER
GROUP TROPHY. The audience will be asked to form separate teams and
compete for small prizes. There will not be an Associates Lecture on
this evening |
